Nigeria’s Senators had agreed to contribute N300, 000 each to alleviate the plight of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in all camps in the country.
The senators reach the decision to make the donation during its plenary on Tuesday.
They had deliberated on the growing humanitarian crisis in the North-East and felt it was necessary they gave a helping hand.
