These are certainly not the best of times for stand-up comedian Bright Okpocha (Basketmouth) as barely a month after his Lekki home was raided in the early hours of September 7th (between the 2am and 4am) by armed robbers who carted away valuables including a CCTV device, the humour merchant has lost his mom.
The obviously saddened comedian took to his Instagram page to share the sad news saying his mother passed on after a brief illness and her death took the family by surprise because no one saw it coming.
“Last night my angel left me, my first love stopped breathing and it’s the deepest pain I’ve ever felt. I love you for every sacrifice you made to make me the man I am today, I’ve loved you through the tough times. I’ve loved you through happier days and all I can say at this point is that I will love you forever. I will miss you mummy”, the comedian wrote.
