Another black man has been shot dead again by a white cop in Los Angeles following a car chase.
According to Sgt. Barry Montgomery, cops tried to stop a car with paper plates, believing the car may have been stolen but the driver of the car refused to stop prompting a car chase.
At some point, the passenger of the car got out and ran into the back of a house where he was fatally shot while the driver of the car sped off and is said to be on the run as at the time of filing in this report.
Gun shots in the neighbourhood drew the attention of residents in the area and when it was discovered that another black man had been shot dead by cops, a small group of protesters blocked an intersection near the shooting scene Saturday night, with some waving signs that read “Black Lives Matter” and others shouting at officers in riot helmets.
Montgomery said a weapon was recovered at the scene, but he would not say what it was or what led to the shooting.
